We have the plans but do we have a strategy to implement those plans?
Council and staff have to work together to share their priorities and focus on projects that will make the most impact within the restraints of the budget. We need to identify these priorities every year and explain them to the public.
I see excellent examples of how other municipalities engage the public in the budget process. I want to develop innovative methods to present budget information in a clear, concise, and accessible way.
